Hi, I'm with Public Health IT!
Public Health IT (PHIT) is dedicated to ensuring that the public health community has the data it needs for situational awareness and informed decision-making. That's why we use our channels to provide public education and to help professionals like you tell your story.
I'd love to hear your story (something you've lived through, seen, or worked on in public health IT that others in this field need to know about). Please click on the button below to let us know the story you want to tell. The process is pretty quick, and you can respond with video, audio, or text (whatever's easiest for you). If you use video, take as many takes as you need to get it right.
Once you're done, we'll review your submission and get back to you within a week to let you know if it's a fit for one of our upcoming segments.
If it's a fit, I'll reach out to schedule a brief orientation call to better understand the story you want to tell. You'll share as much background as possible, along with any supporting materials related to what you're describing. From there, I'll draft a preliminary episode outline and send it to you, along with lead-in questions for your portion of the segment.
Public Health IT uses an asynchronous interview format because it gives you the freedom to tell your story at the time that is best for you. It also gives you room to route your story through your organization's approval process, if needed. We understand the importance of getting clearance when you are representing a public entity, so nothing goes live, and nothing is shared beyond our review team until you confirm (in writing) that you have full clearance to move forward. This is your story, and it stays in your control the whole way through.
